McNeese State University is currently accepting applications for four (4) graduate assistant athletic trainer positions for Fall 2014. This is a 10 month position beginning August 1, 2014 and can be renewed for a second year. This position includes a $9,000 stipend ($4,500/semester) and full tuition waiver. McNeese State University’s 16 intercollegiate sports compete at the NCAA Division I (FCS football) level and are members of the Southland Conference.
Include, but are not limited to: assisting athletic training staff with overall sports medicine care for 16 Division I athletic programs and athletic training coverage and team travel with sports as determined by the Head Athletic Trainer. Other responsibilities include supervision of athletic training students, clinical instructor for a CAATE accredited athletic training program, daily operation of athletic training facilities, and other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
